Treachery in Beatdown City: Ultra Remix starts pulling punches on Xbox, Switch and PC
We’ve been waiting an age for Treachery in Beatdown City: Ultra Remix to release. Finally, it is here.
After originally anticipating release of Treachery in Beatdown City: Ultra Remix back in April – hell, we even included this in our round up of the best games to look out for – and then having run an interview with one of the kingpins behind it, a last minute delay saw the beatdowns drop.
Now though, some months later Treachery in Beatdown City: Ultra Remix releases. And it does so on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. And we cannot wait to get the chance to starting throwing some punches.
Up for the beatdown?
Available today, Treachery in Beatdown City: Ultra Remix is an adrenalin-fuelled relaunch of the original game from 2020. This time around it comes with new levels, new enemies, new music, a new tutorial and some enhanced cutscenes. Seeing as the original game sits on Steam with a ‘Mostly Positive’ review rating, we’re expecting big things from the Ultra Remix edition.
You should be seeing this as a 2.0 relaunch of Treachery in Beatdown City as we look to head to town in order to save a kidnapped president – Blake Orama. What plays out from there is the usual side scrolling beat ’em up action, reimagined. You’ll be pulling off dashing strikes, backflip kicks and more, all as you take down tourists, cops, wrestlers and terrorists.
“We wanted to make Treachery in Beatdown City the best game it could be,” said Shawn Alexander Allen, Game Director. “And with Ultra Remix, I’m very proud of what we accomplished.”
