Metal Hellsinger’s slay-bells are ringing with free & paid DLC updates
If the holiday season is a little too cold for your liking, then warming yourself in the fires of hell might not be such a bad way to spend your time. In an announcement on X, The Outsiders has revealed that the free Leviathan update will add a fresh, demon-filled horde mode to Metal Hellsinger.
As for paid content, the Purgatory DLC, which will be available on December 7 alongside the Leviathan update, will offer up some more unholy content to help bolster your demon-filled rhythm adventure. Within the pack, you’ll find three brand-new songs, three skins (it wasn’t stated whether they’re for your weapons or The Unknown), and a fresh weapon to obliterate your enemies with.
Right now, details are slim, so we’ll have to wait for The Outsiders to give us some more information to go on, although the Metal Hellsinger X account has said that more details “about Leviathan and Purgatory” will be revealed soon.
Metal Hellsinger was available via Xbox Game Pass for a while but left the service in September, so if you’re looking to jump back in for some fun, you’ll need to pick up a copy of the game. If you do decide to purchase a copy, don’t forget that the Metal Hellsinger: Essential Hits Edition launched earlier this year, filling the metal-focused track list with songs from other genres — you can slay demons to tracks from artists like Disturbed, Depeche Mode, Paramore, and plenty of others now!
