Microsoft adds another five Xbox games to Boosteroid
Microsoft announced its ten-year partnership with Boosteroid, along with a number of other streaming services, as a show of good faith when attempting to get its Activision Blizzard acquisition over the finish line. Deathloop, Gears 5, Grounded, and Pentiment were added to Boosteroid shortly after via Xbox Game Pass, and now Microsoft is adding another five games to the service.
Five Xbox games join Boosteroid
As announced on Xbox Wire, players with a Boosteroid membership can now play Dishonored, Dishonored 2, Dishonored: Death of The Outsider, Gears Tactics, and Ghostwire: Tokyo via the streaming service.
To play any of Microsoft’s games via Boosteroid, you’ll need to have either an Xbox Game Pass subscription or have purchased them from the Microsoft Store on Windows. Each game also supports cross-saves and cross-play, so you can hop between your console and Boosteroid with the same game save or hang with your friends on PC while you stream the game to your mobile.
When it comes to its own games, Microsoft isn’t just sharing with partnered streaming services anymore either, but is taking its own first-party games to new platforms. The company recently announced that Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Sea of Thieves, and Grounded are releasing on rival consoles. Microsoft has clarified that Starfield and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are not going multiplatform.
Will you be streaming any of these games via Boosteroid? Let us know down in the comments!
