Another Crab’s Treasure devs release the game’s original prototype

Another Crab’s Treasure came to Switch back in April and quickly found huge success, with the game selling 500k+ units worldwide so far. That achievement was only possible thanks to many years of hard work on the title, and now we can get a look back at how things started thanks to a special release from the dev team.

Aggro Crab, the developers of Another Crab’s Treasure, have decided to release the first playable prototype for the game, which was originally completed back in February 2021. This prototype was meant for shopping around to publishers and investors, and the goal was to woo them with a gameplay snippet. This isn’t the full game, but instead an experience that lasts just 3-5 minutes. If you can’t sell people on your game in that timeframe, I guess you’re in for a tough road ahead!
