Nintendo requests default judgment in piracy case after defendant fails to respond

There’s one way to make sure you’ll lose to Nintendo in a courtroom situation, and that’s by ignoring their requests.

A few months back, Nintendo had gone after a moderator on a Switch piracy subreddit, but they also were the person behind a number of piracy sites in general. Nintendo says that they asked the defendant to shut down their operations multiple times, but they refused to do so. This led to Nintendo filing a lawsuit.

Fast-forward to today, and we find out that the person behind the piracy accusations has failed to respond to Nintendo. With that in mind, Nintendo has now requested default judgment in the case, which would mean Nintendo would be granted a decision in their favor. If/when that judgment is made, we’ll bring you the full details.
