Omens of Tyranny update out now, adds the Illuminate and much more! – WGB

Following a leak earlier this week, Helldivers 2 made an appearance at The Game Awards 2024 to announce that the Illuminate are finally coming!

The announcement was made in style with a presenter appearing on stage in full Helldiver armour. He launched into a dramatic piece of propaganda…wait, I mean a rousing speech in the name of Super Earth!

The new update is indeed titled Omens of Tyranny, again matching the leak, and features the new third faction alongside vehicles that will allow Helldivers to get around in style.

The update is out…well, right now! And on top of that, Helldivers 2 managed to pick up The Best Multiplayer Game award.
