Nintendo announces a badge giveaway for Switch owners in Japan
Nintendo has announced a special opportunity for Switch owners in Japan, and all you have to do is continue to enjoy the games you already own!
Nintendo has announced a special February event for Japan, and it applies to those who own Splatoon 3, Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, or Animal Crossing New Horizons. Those who have any of those games can hop into them throughout February to partake in the following activities:
- Splatoon 3: play the upcoming chocolate Splatfest
- Pokémon Scarlet/Violet: play the upcoming Milcery Tera Raid Battle
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons: give a “chocolate heart” or “heart-shaped bouquet” to a resident
All of these events take place in February, but each has a specific date where you can participate to automatically enter yourself into a special drawing. 1,000 lucky players of each game will be win one of the above sets of physical badges, with Splatoon 3, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Pokémon Scarlet/Violet options up for grabs.
It seems there will be no other way to obtain these badges, so there will be 3,000 extremely lucky Nintendo fans in Japan who have a chance to get quite the exclusive set of goodies!
