Monpoké animated shorts released (UPDATE)

The Pokémon franchise has deep ties to animation. There was a Pokémon anime right at the start of the franchise that’s still going strong today, and there have been a ton of animated movies, specials and shorts along the way as well. Pokémon Co. clearly has interest in continuing this tradition, as yet another series has been launched.

At the end of last year, Pokémon Co. put out a trailer showcasing an animated web series that is based on the Monpoké merch line. This series officially kicks off today with not one, but two episodes. You can give both of them a watch below.

The Pokémon Monpoké animated shorts series will feature 10 episodes, each running roughly 5 minutes in length. We’ll make sure to bring you each installment as it’s released.
