Playing as the legendary RoboCop, your prime directive in the first-person shooter/adventure game is to investigate a shadowy conspiracy that is threatening the streets of Old Detroit. Exploring open areas, you will need to search for evidence, interrogate suspects, maintain public order by using your iconic Auto-9 pistol, and complete objectives to your own sense of justice. Rogue City is set between the events of RoboCop 2 and 3, and developer Teyon has stayed true to the source material. At times Rogue City really feels like one of the movies, with faithful recreations of characters and locations. In my opinion, the FPS is massively underrated, and it seems to have slipped under the radar for many.
If you’re interested, you can currently pick up RoboCop: Rogue City – Alex Murphy Edition for just $13.99 / £11.99 / €13.99, which in my eyes, is an absolute bargain. The Alex Murphy Edition includes a few extra cosmetics, the OCP Shotgun sidearm, and a digital artbook.
