Arcade Archives: Juno First comes to Switch March 13th, 2025
Hamster has announced that they’re bringing Arcade Archives: Juno First to the Switch on March 13th, 2025. June First is a shmup released by Konami in 1983.
Players defeat enemies by moving in four directions (forward, backward, left and right) and using two buttons for shooting and emergency evasion (warp). Warp, which allows players to avoid attacks, can be used up to three times per stage. This game also combines strategy with speedy shooting elements and a system that allows players to effectively increase their score by rescuing prisoners.
The “Arcade Archives” series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores.
