DiscoDevs Game Bundle Celebrates Disability Pride Month

DisCoDevs, an initiative created to help developers with disabilities build community, raise awareness, and get paid for their work, has launched a game bundle on Itch.io in celebration of Disability Pride Month, which continues throughout July.

Including both video game and tabletop offerings, the DisCoDevs Games Bundle highlights work made by solo developers with disabilities as well as disability-led dev teams. The bundle includes action-oriented fare like FPS Behemoth and arcade game Pong&Shoot, more experimental and narrative-driven pieces like Pleroma and Dear Esme, and interactive fiction and text-based pieces like Migraine Slice and Vekari: Remote Bypass.

The bundle also includes two printable solo pen-and-paper games: I Don’t Speak French But They Do! and The Spaces Among Dreams.

The complete DisCo Devs Games Bundle features 14 games and retails for $10, with 100 percent of proceeds going directly to the participating developers, and runs until the end of July. Tiered pricing options allow purchasers to provide additional financial support to the developers.

Founded by disabled game developer V. Bernard, DisCo Devs – the “DisCo” stands for “Disability Community” – hosts game jams as well as curating bundles, all with the aim of increasing the visibility of work by disabled devs.
