Donkey Kong for the Commodore Plus/4 looks fantastic!


If you’ve been living in a cave or just too young, you probably wouldn’t remember one of the greatest retro games of all time, the 1981 Nintendo game ‘ Donkey Kong ‘. A game in which you played as Mario, that must avoid rolling barrels, sometimes with a hammer in hand, to save a damsel in distress from a giant ape called Donkey Kong. If however you do remember the game or just want to experience it on your Commodore Plus/4. Then make sure to check out this latest release by Csabo, TCFS and Unreal.

Announced via the Plus/4 website…. With the Arok Party 2025 over, the Plus/4 scene was lucky to receive a massive bounty of releases. One of those releases was none other than Donkey Kong, which has arrived on the Commodore Plus/4. A classic platformer originally released in 1981. The player controls Jumpman aka Mario as he runs and jumps on platforms and climbs ladders to ascend a construction site and rescue Pauline from Donkey Kong. Title screen by Veto, converted by Unreal. Cracktro graphics and TCFS logo by Chronos”.
