Pinkpantheress is one of the musical it-girls of the moment, releasing banger after banger. If you spend even a tiny bit of time on TikTok, there’s no doubt you’ve heard at least some of Pinkpantheress’ tracks. These TikToks have helped the singer’s star rise even higher, which recently landed her a medley performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
We’re big fans of Pinkpantheress in general here, but we normally don’t have any reason to talk about her on GoNintendo. That all changes today thanks to a reveal from the singer herself. Turns out she’s quite a huge fan of the 2011 Wii title Rhythm Heaven Fever, so much so that she snuck sound cues from the game into her Jimmy Fallon performance. The singer admitted this in a post on social media.
Some fans of the franchise actually caught the Rhythm Heaven Fever snippets during the performance and took to various platforms to share the news. Apparently there was a little debate as to whether people were legitimately hearing the game or just hallucinating the audio, which is why Pinkpantheress shared her message to clear up confusion. You can hear/see the performance for yourself above, and if you listen closely you’ll no doubt catch some Rhythm Heaven Fever audio drops.
It seems the discovery really took off when TikToker therealstoinkle spread the word. That makes plenty of sense, as they’re a huge Rhythm Heaven and Pinkpanthress fan! You can see some of their custom Rhythm Heaven Fever TikTok videos below.
