The world’s game is getting a world-class upgrade in authenticity and EA has confirmed a series of new and exclusive multi-year partnerships for EA SPORTS FC 26, further expanding its already immense roster of licensed content.
Headlining the new additions is a brand-new partnership with one of the world’s most iconic clubs, FC Bayern Munich, and a renewed license with the English FA, featuring both the men’s national team and the reigning UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 champions.
This continued commitment to authenticity ensures that FC 26 will feature over 20,000 athletes, 750+ clubs, 120+ stadiums, and 35+ leagues, all powered by over 300 global football partners.
This latest wave of news is the perfect complement to the recent reveal of the new class of FC 26 ICONs. While that announcement celebrated the legends who shaped the history of the sport, this new collection of partnerships is all about delivering the most comprehensive and authentic representation of the modern, present-day world of football.
“Everything we’ve added to FC 26 has been shaped by the voices of our community,” said James Taylor, Director of Football Partnerships at EA SPORTS FC. “From the return of iconic stadiums and clubs fans have called for, to expanding representation in women’s football at the highest level — every new addition reflects our commitment to authenticity and to celebrating the incredible diversity of the world’s game.”
New Grounds to Conquer: Iconic Stadiums Return
EA has made it clear that they are listening to community feedback, and that is most evident in the return of several fan-favourite stadiums.
Three of the most-requested stadiums are making their way into FC 26:
- Allianz Arena: The stunning home of new partner club, FC Bayern.
- Stadio Diego Armando Maradona: The legendary and long-awaited home of Napoli.
- Tüpraş Stadyumu: The atmospheric cauldron of Beşiktaş.
On top of those, a host of other new stadiums will be added, including the brand-new Hill Dickinson Stadium (Everton), Holstein-Stadion (Holstein Kiel), Stade de la Beaujoire (FC Nantes), and more.
FC 26 is also continuing to elevate both men’s and women’s football. Renewed licensing agreements include the Barclays Women’s Super League, the Arkema Première Ligue, and both the UEFA Women’s Champions League and UEFA Women’s EURO.
New additions, including Chelsea Women and FC Bayern Women, will further strengthen the game’s global representation of elite women’s football.
A Word from the Partners
The new and returning partners are all excited to be a part of the world’s biggest football game.
Michael Diederich, Executive Vice Chairman of FC Bayern said: “Passion, commitment and emotion are the hallmarks of football, both on the pitch and in the virtual world… We at FC Bayern are all excited to share these attributes with our new partner EA SPORTS FC. Together, we want to further expand our interaction with the next generation of football fans: on the pitch and on the game console.“
Zarah Al Kudcy, Chief Revenue Officer at the BWSL, said: “The power of EA SPORTS FC and its utopian world of football has brought the BWSL, our clubs and our players to a whole new audience. Our league and our clubs are already one of the most played in women’s football within the game and we are excited to keep building together.“
