99 Nights in the Forest Gambler Introduction
For 55 Diamonds, you can obtain the Gambler Class. As implied by its name, your entire playthrough will be up to chance, and your survivability rests on Lady Luck. This Class, unlike all others, has no distinct features, meaning no two starts are the same.
Gamblers begin with x1 Random Item. So, you could begin with scrap, pelts, fuel, food, or something as overpowered as the Strong Axe or Thorn Body. Anything is possible!
When the game rolls your item, you must survive 5+ days before the game rerolls for your next campaign (not current playthrough). This prevents players from constantly rerolling until they get something overpowered.
Gambler Upgrades
- First Perk
- Requires: Buying the class.
- Ability: Have a 50/50 chance of upgrading or downgrading standard Chests when opening them.
- Second Perk
- Requires: Open 70 Chests.
- Ability: Have a 60/40 chance of upgrading or downgrading standard Chests when opening them.
- Third Perk
- Requires: Open 150 Chests, and open 10 Ruby Chests.
- Ability: +10% chance for Chests to also drop coins.
Is This Class Worth The Risk?
Absolutely! It’s not too pricey and is really fun to try. Sure, it can provide debuffs sometimes, but 99 Nights isn’t too difficult a game to play, so it only adds to its fun if your survivability is further challenged.
