The premise of Nordic Ashes: The Complete Saga is rooted firmly in Norse mythology.
As Ragnarok unfolds, Yggdrasil has been drained of its energy, threatening the stability of the Nine Realms. With the world collapsing around them, only a handful of warriors stand between survival and total annihilation.
Players take control of one of several heroes, each bringing their own combat style and abilities to the battlefield. Among them are Axeldör, a powerful Viking warrior; Thyra who is a deadly ranger with expert precision; and Hafgrim – a master of elemental magic.
Much like in Vampire Survivors and more recently Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, each hero offers a different way to tackle the endless waves of enemies.
A Roguelite Battle For Survival
At its core, Nordic Ashes is a roguelite survivor-style experience, where players must fend off increasingly dangerous hordes of monsters.
Enemies approach from every direction, and the longer you survive, the more intense the battlefield becomes. Victory requires quick thinking, clever upgrades and the ability to adapt to constantly escalating threats.
