Bite By Night is here, and if you want to live, you need to master your Survivor class. Which one to pick, though? That depends on your play style. Fortunately, we’ve made this Bite By Night class guide to explain each one, and what kind of player will get the most out of them.
Bite By Night Class Guide
This guide is all about the facts about each of the classes. If you would like to see how all these line up in terms of how good they are, we also made a class tier list.
Customer
The first class you’re likely to get in the game. The Customer excels in one thing, and that’s being an easy jumping-off point to learn the ropes of the game, with a few emergency measures between you and the Killer. It doesn’t bring a ton of extra utility to a team, but sometimes if all you can do is complete objectives and not die, that’s enough. The Customer class can help you do that.
Moves
- Q -Pizza
- Eat some Pizza to recover 20% of your health. This has a 25 second cooldown afterwards.
- E – Drink
- Chug some of your drink for a speed boost. Don’t get too comfortable though, at the end you’ll have a sugar crash and have a slower run speed for a short time.
Fighter
This class is all about melee. Melee with an invincible killer. People of a sensitive disposition should probably stay away from this one. The strength of the Fighter is their mighty fire axe, which lets them knock the Killer down temporarily.
Moves
- Q – Swing.
- Swing your axe at the Killer. If it lands, you can knock them down and stun them for a short time. You use Parry (detailed below) to charge this move. With enough charge, it can also apply debuffs to the killer that last longer than the stun.
- E – Parry
- You use this to deflect attacks from the Killer, if you can time it effectively. If you can land a successful Parry, this will charge your Swing move, and potentially let you apply extra debuffs on the Killer.
Medic
Most team games need one. If you are the one who always plays support classes, then Medic is your go-to. You can heal other Survivors, and yourself, so have fun being extremely useful to your squad, and staying well away from the actual Killer. You skillset is not best used getting close.
Moves
- Q – Heal
- Heal another player. This is a progressive move, the more time you spend actually bandaging your buddy, the more HP they’ll get back. The only issue is, this takes time that you might not have if Springtrap is running in your direction, so use it carefully.
- E – Self Heal
- Similar to the player healing, but applied to you. Useful for keeping yourself upright for longer and broadly more effective than the Customer’s Pizza skill, though potentially slower.
Security Guard
One of the stronger and more versatile classes, the Security Guard seems to be built for tackling animatronics, and has a few different tools at their disposal. They function as kind of a tech guy, with several ways to outsmart the Killer.
Moves
- Q – Taser
- Fire your taser. If it hits the Killer, they’ll be slowed down significantly. The Taser has limited charges, and you’ll need to charge it in between shots.
- E – Cameras
- The most powerful tool for the guard, and perhaps in the game in general. Using this skill allows you to look through various security cameras, to seek out the Killer, and objectives. If you find them, you can mark them and make them visible to all the other Survivors for a time.
