Well the Resident Evil Requiem puzzle challenge solution was found thanks to data miners. It took them a while but they finally found the triggers to make the doll spawn. It turns out the toilets were a key piece of the puzzle and nobody has found the lore explanation yet of why the toilets were important so it must just be an easter egg if no one else can find a lore reason or a note anywhere that explains it. It turns out there’s a legitimate way to find the Resident Evil Requiem Marie’s Doll key item and it does in fact persist through new game plus (NG+).
