A new Sonic the Hedgehog movie is coming to a cinema near you on November 15th 2019 Sega and Paramount Pictures have announced!
This is the first move from Sega as they try to expand their flagship charachter out of the videogame market and into other genres. Hitting the big screen with a huge production could definatly do this and of course if it gets the backing it deserves, it coould be a major hit and could help revive Sega to the forefront of gaming yet again!
The movie is planned to include live action and CGI and the usual high quality animation and the studio has already accuired some talent to get behind the movie.
This will be the first time Sonic has been put into cinemas ever since he first appeared in 1991 on the Sega Genesis. He then went onto being one of the most iconic charachers in videogame history, and is still hitting consoles and other formats today.
