Samuel L. Jackson Reprises Nick Fury for MARVEL SNAP Promo
Nick Fury may be taking the spotlight in the upcoming Secret Invasion series on Disney+, but Samuel L. Jackson has some fun with the part for this ad for digital card game MARVEL SNAP.

Since Fury is officially off-world in the canon, we can just take this ad for what it is—a fun poke at the character. I do have to say though, the mention of Squirrel Girl does give me a little hope that Disney is planning to revive the cancelled Runaways show, which was shooting already for Hulu before Disney decided to cancel it.
With the game requiring players to mix and match Marvel heroes and their abilities, it is kind of like being put in the seat of Nick Fury, having to manage all these super-people. It’s actually fun that Jackson was all up to reprise the role for an ad. Personally, if there’s a chance to watch Nick Fury completely lose his shit, I will always be up for it.
