Part 1: A Friendly Place
Section 7 (Display Case Key)
To figure out how to disguise yourself, you’ll want to access the museum of pirate lore, located near the entrance of the deep dark forest.
Inside the museum, you’’ll talk to Conrad. Then, examine the eyepatch to the right of the red parrot. Turns out this eyepatch is what you need to disguise yourself, but it’s in a locked display case. First though, examine the display case lock to find there’s some very tiny writing on it.
To read this tiny writing, you will require not one but two monocles. To acquire these monocles, leave the museum and go to Wally’s Maps-n-More shop. Here, examine the monocle on Walley’s desk and ‘sneak’ it.
Exit the shop and then go back in to find another one there – grab this one as well. Combine the monocles in your inventory by using one on the other.
Return to the museum and use the double-monocle (binocle, perhaps?) to examine the writing on the lock.
You now have the serial number for the lock, so we need to find a locksmith who’ll make a key for a lock of its kind.
The locksmith can be found on High Street, to the left of the gate leading out towards the governor’s mansion.
Enter the smith’s shop and give her the serial number. Now that you have the key, you can open the display case! Well, there is one problem…
