The Last of Us Part II has been Surpassed by Elden Ring as Most Awarded Game of All Time
Elden Ring pretty much dominated 2022 with all the awards that it managed to win, but the title has apparently beat out another game that has been dominating since its release back in 2020.
As it turns out, Elden Ring has beat out The Last of Us Part II when it comes to being the most awarded game of all time. This comes from @DomTheBombYT:
As it stands, Elden Ring has won 324 awards, beating out The Last of Us Part II which had 322 awards. Other gamesin the list include The Witcher III: Wild Hunt with 281 awards, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with 229, and the original Last of Us with 258 awards.
Though Elden Ring may have dominated 2022, a lot of Last of Us fans are just waiting for the third game’s release. Rumors have already been going around that Naughty Dog has already started development on The Last of Us Part III, but until we get an official announcement, we should just take the news with a grain of salt.
Personally, I don’t take any of this award stuff seriously, but if it helps anyone who has been developing these games, who am I to complain about any of it?
Elden Ring is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 4|5. The Last of Us Part II is a PlayStation 4|5 exclusive.
