New footage of Tokyo Xanadu eX+ shows the ‘Turbo Mode’ mechanic being used in a boss battle

Falcom previously announced that they’re bringing Tokyo Xanadu eX+ to the Switch in Japan on June 29th, 2023. The title will be priced at 4,800 yen and will be sold both digitally and physically. Today, we got additional footage of the game’s Turbo Mode mechanic being used during a boss battle.

Tokyo Xanadu eX+ includes aTurbo Mode that allows you to speed battles up if you’d like a quicker pace. As showcased in the video above, you’ll be able to bump things up to 1x, 1.5x, and 2x.

Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is an enhanced port of the PS Vita title, Tokyo Xanadu. Before that, Tokyo Xanadu released on the PlayStation 4 on September 8th, 2016 in Japan. Tokyo Xanadu eX+ includes optimized controls and the “High-Speed Mode” from the Trails and Ys series of games. Finally, all previously released DLC will be included.
