Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition for Xbox Series X|S leaks via ESRB

Little Nightmares originally launched in 2017 on Xbox One and swiftly made a name for itself as a fantastic puzzle-platforming game that immerses you in the helpless world of nightmares. You play as Six, who is trapped on a horrific vessel called The Maw and filled with all manner of wretched creatures, and tasks you with reconnecting with your “inner child to unleash your imagination and find the way out.”
The game’s sequel, Little Nightmares 2, launched on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One 2020, and according to the ESRB, we could be playing Little Nightmares natively on current-gen consoles soon.
Last year, Bandai Namco announced that Little Nightmares 3 is in development at The Dark Pictures Anthology and The Quarry developer, Supermassive Games, and will launch on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One sometime this year. Featuring two new characters, Low and Alone, Little Nightmares 3 will build on its predecessors by including co-op gameplay alongside single-player.
Tarsier Studios, the developer behind the first two Little Nightmares games is a subsidiary of Embracer Group, and despite Little Nightmares having been created by Tarsier, it is owned by Bandai Namco. As such, Embracer has said that Tarsier will now work on new IPs instead, which is why Supermassive Games is in the driver’s seat for Little Nightmares 3.
