Xbox Game Pass adds excellent action-RPG Tales of Arise in February

Although it did appear in February’s Xbox Game Pass announcement, Tales of Arise was swiftly removed, and it looked like the superb action-RPG would not be coming to the service this month. Now, the official Xbox Japan Twitter account has confirmed Tales of Arise will join Xbox Game Pass on February 20. One of the best action-RPGs in recent years, Tales of Arise tells the story of two protagonists, Alphen and Shionne, who are born on the opposing worlds of Rena and Dahna. For over 300 years, Rena has ruled over Dahna, stripping its planet of natural resources and its people of their freedom. You, along with a party of friends, will help defeat the master of an alien planet and liberate the people of Rena.

According to estimates, unlocking all 47 Tales of Arise achievements from its base list will take around 80 hours. There is an Xbox One achievement stack for the action-RPG, which will also likely be available when Tales of Arise joins Game Pass on February 20.
