Narita Boy Special Boxed Collector’s Edition hits Switch in Europe April 26, 2024

The standard and special physical editions of Narita Boy are going to be available on Switch in Europe tomorrow, April 26, 2024. Publisher Team17 Digital has just shared a new batch of info and screenshots to celebrate the release. Check it all out below!

Do you have what it takes to become a hero of the Digital Kingdom? It’s time to grab your Techno-sword and relive the classic digital age of the 1980s with the special boxed Collector’s Edition of the acclaimed narrative-driven RetroVania adventure game Narita Boy. Global publisher and distributor SelectaPlay will launch both the Standard and Collector’s boxed editions tomorrow, 26th April, across European specialist retailers for PlayStation®4 and Nintendo Switch™.

The Standard boxed edition will be released with an exclusive artwork sleeve and will contain a printed Narita Boy The Comic Book inspired by the game and a physical copy of the game.

For real retro fans, there will also be a Narita Boy Collector’s Box, which will include a copy of the Comic Book, a ‘Save the Arcade World’ pin badge, a sticker pack, a copy of the soundtrack composed by Salvinski in a digipack, and a stunning artbook, all housed in a VHS tape-style collector’s box.

Developed by Studio Koba and published by Team17 Digital, Narita Boy is a narrative-driven RetroVania adventure game inspired by the digital age of the 80s and brought to life with the neo-retro aesthetic of times past, but never forgotten.
