Nine Sols Walkthrough – Azure Bow and Charged Strike
Welcome to Into Indie Games’ walkthrough for Nine Sols. In this part we cover the quickest path to getting the Azure Bow from Kuafu and learning how to Charged Strike.

The Azure Bow
If you head to the right from where you unlocked Kuafu’s Sol Seal, you will find the central elevator. Take it back to the Apeman facility. Get off the elevator and head to the Four Seasons Pavilion to meet up with Kuafu. He is on the top floor.
After the conversation he will hand over the Azure Bow to you. Kuafu will now become a merchant to upgrade your gear. I would suggest getting the Pipe upgrade for now. Save at the Root Node and talk to ShuanShuan. Exit the Pavillion and head to the right and up the stairs. Tai Chi kick the Robot here and hack him to unlock door.
Head through the door and keep going till you reach a grapple point. Use it to go up and jump on the platform. Keep going left to find a chest. Drop down to the water area and you will find more chest once the explosive slugs go off.
Ancient Sheet Music artifact
Get back up and head to the right by using the grapple point. Drop down the chain with the bell, kill the worm and pick up the chest. Keep going right and clearing the area of enemies. Keep going till you reach a Solarian in a red gown.
She will give you the Ancient Sheet Music artifact. This is a gift for ShuanShuan. If you head down below, you will find another elevator but it doesn’t lead anywhere for now. So just climb up the rope holding the main central bell and pick up the chest there. Now head down and back to the right to find the Root Node to save. Keep going to the right kill all the slugs as they attack you. Keep going till you reach the area with the hackable circuitry.
Hack it to drop and rope to climb up and head to the right to ring a large bell to summon the Dragon Boat. Hope on the dragon boat and get moving. Kill the slugs that come on board as well as the flying enemies and ninjas. Get off the boat and examine the pillar for the Lake Yaochi Stele. Head to the right and refill your Pipe and Sand. Jump up and get to the gazebo and climb up. Heng will call you. Watch the cutscene unfold.
Nymph Scout Puzzle in the Lake Yaochi Ruins – Soul Reaper Jade
Drop down and head to the right. Enter the yellow building. Get to the hacking point and use your Nymph to solve the puzzle.
Fly your Nymph through to the bottom now and hack the circuit to unlock the chest. Hack the chest to receive the Soul Reaper Jade. Exit the building now. Head to the right above the hill. Kill the dogs on the bridge and keep going. There is an enemy and a chest under the bridge.
Keep going right and head up the stairs to enter a new area. Head down to the ground and you will eventually be capture by Goumang.
She will summon two Jiangshi Soldiers – who will quiet hilariously break your cage and send you down. Keep going left now, save at the Root Node and you will be in Lear’s realm again.
Charged Strike
You will now learn Charged Strike – use it to break through the stone barriers we have seen so far. Also it breaks shields.
Head to the left once you are back in Lake Yaochi. Dash through the waterfall and break through the stone barrier. Keep going to meet up with Chiyou again. Buy anything you need off him. Go past him and climb up. Move to the right now, taking enemies out. Move upwards around the platforms till you reach this console and this Shahnai 9000.
You will learn that you have to turn off the Yellow Water to get access to Goumang. Head to the left and hack the terminal to turn off the waterfall. Drop down the levels, taking the enemies out on each level. Here you can pick up the Unknown Seed, another gift for ShuanShuan.
Go back up and head to the left via the three hanging chains. Hack the next terminal to stop the waterfall and go through. Keep going to the left till you reach the location below and hack this terminal to stop the next waterfall.
This will clear up the area on the left of the tunnel leading down. Clear all the enemies here and the nests too. Collect the data on the Mutated Crops. Then go to the left of the mutated plants and head down to the pillars. Cross the pillars and stand on the final one to use your Nymph to hack the way to climb back up.
Now go back up and jump down the hole in the middle.
