Nintendo says Switch 2 will have improved Bluetooth connections

Switch 2 is improving on the original Switch in just about every way. A bigger screen, more processing power, improved Joy-Con, brand-new control features like mouse-style control…the list goes on and on. Turns out we can also expect some better connectivity on the Switch 2 as well.
We’ve known for awhile now that Switch 2 would retain Bluetooth features, and it’s no surprise, as the original Switch used Bluetooth as well. That said, the connection to those devices could be a tank wonky from time to time, but Nintendo says that’s not going to be an issue when it comes to Switch 2.
According to Switch 2 design lead Tetsuya Sasaki, you can expect more stable Bluetooth connections on Switch 2.
“If I were to go into it I feel like it’s going to take forever…so I will start with: yes, it has improved. And if I were to add a little bit more: wireless features really depend on… the size has a big impact, so the bigger the antenna, the better the connection. And as we’ve been able to do that, I think you’ll find the connection is improved. The number of antennas has increased, a lot of other adjustments have been made to improve it.”
