Until Then Launches on Xbox Series S/X

I have some news for those of you who love to combine your enjoyment of reading with your enjoyment of gaming. This being said, a new visual novel has launched on your Xbox Series S/X consoles. The game we’ll be looking at today is Until Then, and if totally immersing yourself in a new story is your sort of thing, it might just be right up your street.

The folk at Maximum Entertainment and Polychroma Games are excited to announce that their acclaimed visual novel, Until Then, has launched on your Xbox Series S/X consoles. It’s also available on PlayStation 5, PC and Switch, so there’s no reason not to get hold of a copy if, like me, you don’t own an Xbox.

Set in a beautifully stylised pixel-art world, Until Then follows the character of Mark Borja, a high school student trying to make sense of daily life, such as school, friendships, piano lessons and social media. As Mark is doing this, he’s also dealing with the disconcerting feeling that something isn’t quite right. As strange events begin to ripple through his reality, Mark finds himself on the edge of a life-changing mystery.

In Until Then, players will explore an immersive, narrative-rich world filled with memorable characters, clever mini-games, and interactive storytelling. This detailed, emotional storyline is coupled with a dynamic soundtrack to help fully immerse players in Mark’s world as they are challenged to uncover the truth hidden beneath the surface before time runs out.

Those of you who play and love Until Then will also be pleased to note that it will be followed by the Afterimages DLC, which is slated for release later this year. It’s always nice to see devs expanding the narrative to the games we love, so this could be something to look forward to if you don’t want the fun to end.

So there you have it. A brand new story for those of you who love the visual novel art form to immerse yourselves in. If you’re looking to grab your digital copy straight away, it will be available at your respective online store now.
