Radioactive Ralph – A Manic Miner-like ZX Spectrum clone that’s well worth checking out!

Following a highly successful physical release that even features gorgeous artwork on the tape itself, the latest ZX Spectrum title, Radioactive Ralph, is now available as a digital download via SimonAllan.itch.io. For those that have played the game already, have said it is a high-quality Manic Miner clone, but with a modern twist. While the game features some of the classic flickering sprites familiar to Speccy fans, it compensates with noticeably faster animations and impressive static graphics. The audio, crafted by the KUVO team, has also been singled out as a highlight of the experience.

It has been eighteen months since the reactor at the power station blew up and contaminated everything within a twenty five mile radius of the station. During this time the staff who survived the blast have been preparing and training you to control a robot named ‘Ralph’ who will enter the station in order to collect all the radioactive plates that have been scattered by the blast.  Navigate Ralph through each of the rooms while avoiding NASTIES and TOXINS to collect the plates, one plate per room of the power station.  You will enter each room via a green door, collect the plate and exit via the yellow door, but do not take too long as time is of the essence!
