Godly Ascension has, ironically, descended on Anime Vanguards. The new content has arrived, Boss Rush is active… and a lot of units mysteriously lost their models. We’ll get to that later. In the meantime we need to address the important part, the Anime Vanguards update 13 codes. There are a bunch of new ones to cover. Let’s get going.

How To Redeem The Codes
If you’re still around, you might be curious about what to do with the codes. We have that covered, though.
- Make sure you are at least Level 30. (You gain levels be completing rounds.)
- Load into Anime Vanguards. You should arrive in the lobby.
- Resist the urge to join a game. You’ve got some business in the lobby.
- Hit the Profile button. That’s the button with the book icon on the right of the screen.
- In the Profile window that opens up, hit the Codes button. This is the purple button with the sign in it marked with the letters ABX.
- Once the Codes window opens, enter does into the text box in the middle.
- Hit the green button marked ‘Redeem Code’.

Update 13, Godly Ascension, dropped on the 31st of May 2026.
Godly Ascension is a mostly One Piece-themed update, with a Gear 5 Luffy uh… Elastic Captain unit. There’s also Pirate Dynasty and Boss Rush modes among a bunch of other content.
Along with the actual content updates, with Update 13 Anime Vanguards ended up addressing a few awkward DMCA issues flagged up by various companies. This means that for the moment, a number of units whose designs flew too close to the sun in terms of similarity to copyrighted characters are stuck as squares.
Hopefully we’ll see some revamped designs in the near future.
