DIRE ECHO is a first-person atmospheric horror game set in the near future, where humanity has expanded deeper into space. You play as an astronaut sent on a routine mission to deliver technical data to a remote station. Things quickly take a darker turn when command asks you to investigate the research vessel Echo-7, which has suddenly gone silent.

At first, the lack of communication is blamed on a geomagnetic storm. But when you arrive, the ship appears functional from the outside, while the inside is empty, silent, and deeply unsettling. No crew. No welcome. Just abandoned corridors, scattered belongings, and the growing feeling that something is very wrong.

The game focuses on realistic visuals, isolation, tension, and immersive sound design. It is tagged as Atmospheric, Creepy, Dark, First-Person, Horror, Psychological Horror, Space, and Walking Simulator, so this should be an easy pickup if you enjoy slow-burn sci-fi horror and abandoned spaceship mysteries.
