More Than Just A Fresh Coat Of Paint
At its heart, House Flipper Remastered Collection remains the same game players have spent years enjoying. You’ll still buy neglected properties, clean away years of dirt and clutter, repaint walls, install furniture and transform forgotten houses into desirable homes before selling them on for a profit.
But this isn’t simply a visual upgrade.
The remastered edition introduces enhanced lighting, improved textures, a redesigned user interface and a host of technical improvements that make every renovation project feel smoother than ever. Whether you’re scrubbing floors, decorating bedrooms or knocking through walls, the entire experience has been refined for modern hardware.
Every Expansion Under One Roof
One of the biggest selling points is the sheer amount of content included.
House Flipper Remastered Collection bundles together all previous expansions into a single package, making it the most complete version of the game ever released. For newcomers, it’s a chance to jump straight into years of content. For returning players, it’s an opportunity to revisit the game with everything available from day one.
The collection also introduces brand-new empty plots, additional jobs, fresh interactions and hundreds of new items to customise your dream homes. In fact, nearly 800 new decorative items have been added, giving aspiring renovators even more ways to personalise every project.
New Stories Bring More Personality To Every Project
Frozen Way hasn’t just focused on adding content; they’ve also spent time making the world feel more alive.
The remastered collection introduces a reworked narrative structure complete with full voice acting and enhanced character interactions. Familiar renovation jobs now feature more personality, while new stories bring fresh faces and motivations into the mix.
Particularly notable are six new “Heart” missions, designed around themes of friendship, passion, family and connection. Whether you’re helping newlyweds prepare their first home together or assisting homeowners with their own unique ambitions, these missions add a little more warmth behind every renovation.
And alongside the major additions, House Flipper Remastered Collection introduces several features requested by the community over the years. A new Naming System helps organise projects, a dedicated Favourites tab makes frequently used items easier to access, and an enhanced Photo Mode allows players to show off their finest renovations. There’s even a Dark Mode for those marathon decorating sessions that stretch long into the evening.
Loyalty Discounts Reward Returning Flippers
Players who have already spent countless hours renovating properties won’t be starting from scratch when it comes to purchasing the remaster either.
Xbox players who previously played House Flipper through Game Pass can receive a 10% discount on the collection. Owners of the original game can secure a 20% reduction, while players who own House Flipper alongside DLC packs such as Garden, Pets, Luxury, Farm or Dine Out can receive an even larger 30% discount.
Meanwhile, PlayStation owners of the original House Flipper can upgrade to the remastered collection at a reduced price as well.
A Flipping Great Return?
When we reviewed the original House Flipper back in 2020, it caught us completely off guard. Awarding it a 4/5 score, we said: “House Flipper on Xbox One is a wonderful surprise. It does not have the deepest gameplay, but it sucked me right in. It may not be a game I remember for years to come, but it will surely stay installed on my Xbox One so that I have something quiet and calming to play the next time I feel the need to be alone with my existential thoughts.“
That calming appeal remains one of House Flipper’s greatest strengths. While plenty of games ask players to save worlds or defeat monsters, House Flipper simply asks you to make somewhere nicer than you found it. Sometimes that’s enough.
Time To Pick Up The Paint Roller Again
Whether you’re a veteran flipper returning for another renovation project or a newcomer wondering what all the fuss is about, House Flipper Remastered Collection looks set to be the definitive way to experience one of gaming’s most unexpectedly compelling simulators.
With every expansion included, hundreds of new items to discover, fresh story content, community-requested improvements and plenty of reasons for returning players to jump back in, this feels less like a remaster and more like a celebration of everything House Flipper has become.
