If your online algorithms have even a small appetite for gaming content, there’s a good chance you’ve seen clips from Meccha Chameleon, the viral multiplayer sensation that’s taking the internet by storm. The small indie game that could has now sold a whopping 15 million copies in under four weeks, making it both the year’s best-selling and fastest-selling game.

Just in case it’s missed your feed, Meccha Chameleon can loosely be described as a multiplayer hide-and-seek game. Before a round starts, the so-called Hiders will find a secret spot and paint their all-white bodies to hopefully camouflage into the background. The Seekers then walk around with their guns and shoot anything they suspect of being a Hider, sometimes accidentally gunning down suspicious rolls of toilet paper.
