You can mod out the yellow filter in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced

After Traffic and Breaking Bad used it for scenes set there it became know as “the Mexican filter”, though it’s sometimes used for scenes set in South Asia or anywhere a bit tropical. You may recognize it as “the piss filter” that stained the original incarnation of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It’s the yellow gradient that’s usually intended to make things look warm, and it’s not to everyone’s taste. Like piss, I guess.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is the latest videogame to fall under the stream, making Edward Kenway look a bit more tanned and the waters look a bit more green. I didn’t think it was particularly excessive until I saw some before and after screenshots with it removed, and yeah, it does seem a bit dehydrated actually.
