Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Dungeons of Hinterberg. In this part of our Dungeons of Hinterberg walkthrough, we explore the Waterlily River in Hinterwald.

Day 7: Morning
Speak to Alex and head to Hinterwald
Day 7: Noon
Head to Waterlily River.
Once you get there, use Whirlwind to cross the water to get to the entrance. Don’t run on the water.
Dungeon: Waterlily River
After entering the dungeon, pick up the bomb flowers on the left with your secondary magic spell and aim it at the tree on the right. That should create a path to get across. Next, whirlwind yourself over the thorns and climb the ladder. Your perspective will shift and so just keep following the path.
At the next intersection, instead of going left, whirlwind yourself over the thorns to open a chest to find a Charm. After crossing the bridge, you will be ambushed. Clear the enemies out, then use the bomb flowers to drop the tree and create a path across. In the next area, hit the target on the heart shaped leaf to drop a bomb flower and then use it to shoot the tree next to you to create the path forward.
In the next area, go up the stairs and shoot the target on the heart shaped leaf.
In the next area, pick up the bomb flower, blow up the goop blocking the way, and then jump across. Go around and jump across to the side you were just on – bypassing the fallen tree. Use whirlwind to get up on the next ledge and cross over. Keep going till you reach a large log boat and get the option to Start Ride. Do so and then avoid the falling bombs. Get off the ride and save at the new Waypoint. Keep moving to the right and then use the bombs on the right of the wire bridge to blow up the goop blocking the way and then whirlwind across the wire bridge.
In the next area, use whirlwind to bring the bombs through the wired fence close to you and then use your secondary magic spell to shoot it at the eye for the goop.
Now, go to the right and up and across to the get back on the large log boat and start the ride. Fend off the ambush on the ride and get off at the next stop.
Pick up the loot from the chest and save if you want. Keep moving to the right and across. Climb on the ledge and shoot the heart shaped leaf to clear the bridge. Go across and move to the right, whirlwind yourself over the thorns to find a bunch of Hinterbucks under the ramp leading up. Go up the ramp with whirlwind again. At the bottom of the ramp, is a bomb tree. Use whirlwind to pick up those bombs and bring them up to the goop blocking the path and drop the bombs on the eye.
Cross the path you just cleared with a whirlwind and you will be dropped in an arena. Clear out the enemies here and move on. In the next area, climb up on the ledge on the left and shoot the heart shaped leaf and drop a bomb on the lillypads. It should float into the eye of the goop blocking the bridge.
Cross over to the other side and keep going till you reach a broken bridge and string of lilypads going by. Whirlwind yourself over the lilypads to the other side.
Go down to the right and you will see another bridge covered up with goop with its eyes sticking out. Pick up the bombs from the nearby plant with Whirlwind and keep hovering under the eye till it explodes. That should clear the first set of goop.
Next, pick up more bombs with whirldwind and get on a lillypad off the jetty at the bottom. If your timing is right, the bomb will explode just as it is under the eye of the second set of goop.
Climb up the side of the bridge and cross over. Head down and towards another broken bridge. Use whirlwind to cross over. Move to the right and down to open a chest to find the Coin for this dungeon.
Move back to the left, cross the bridge and get on the platform with the bomb plant and pick up and shoot another bomb into the eye to clear the goop.
Cross the bridge and move to the left and get on the log boat again – start the ride. This time its bombs and enemies. Clear them out and exit the dungeon. Remember to pick up your 20000 HBs from the chest near the stamp book place. There is another chest at the bottom that contains a Crit+ gem.
Day 7: Evening
You will run across a Scientist, she will shrink your Charms so they take up less space. After that you can choose anyone to spend the evening with. I chose to spend it with Thea, because she can unlock Chests in the dungeon.
Day 7: Night
I watched TV to increase my amusement as I need it to link up with Sam/Kai. You can choose whatever you want to do.
