EVGA RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 Review & Benchmarks: Power, Thermals, & Overclocking

NVIDIA’s RTX 3090 Ti GPU launched today, but supply is extremely low due to shutdowns in Shenzhen. The EVGA RTX 3090 Ti is one of the few cards out in the first wave.

In this review, we’re looking at the RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 that EVGA sent over. The card gets benchmarks for power, thermals, and gaming performance vs. the RTX 3090 non-Ti, RTX 3080, RX 6900 XT, and a few more. We also spent some time overclocking the card. Overall, as it’s an ultra high-end enthusiast card, we’ll probably spend more time with this under liquid nitrogen once we can get an unlocked VBIOS!

We got this card only 2 full days before launch, so we crammed as many tests in as we could (with a particular focus on thermals and power, given the 450W TDP of the stock 3090 Ti). This was what we could pull together in those two days. We have more we want to do, and that’s true basically in every review, but this will help people considering an early purchase of the 3090 Ti.
