There’s a slightly different flavour to Xbox Game Pass this week, as a couple of games expand into new tiers, whilst others hit home, Day One!
If you’re an Xbox or PC Game Pass subscriber, then you’ll discover that this week Little Rocket Lab and SOPA: Tale of the Stolen Potato go expanding their reach, while brand-new Day One arrivals like Vampire Crawlers and Kiln bring something entirely fresh to the table.
It’s a week that gets creative, experimental and adds in a touch of chaos – and it’s all playable across cloud, console and PC in various forms.

Little Rocket Lab Returns To The Spotlight
First up, Little Rocket Lab blasts back into focus on April 21st. Originally launching into Game Pass in October 2025, it now expands into Game Pass Premium, joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass across cloud, console and PC.
At its heart, this is a cozy automation adventure with surprising depth. You’ll step into the shoes of Morgan, an aspiring engineer tasked with reviving her hometown of St. Ambroise, all while working towards the ultimate goal of building a rocket ship.
From basic drills and furnaces to sprawling conveyor systems and complex machinery, the game thrives on experimentation. But it’s not just about efficiency as there’s a strong narrative thread here too, with relationships to build and a community to restore.
SOPA Expands Its Journey Across Game Pass
Joining it on April 21st is SOPA: Tale of the Stolen Potato, another returning title now opening up to Game Pass Premium alongside its existing presence in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. It’s playable across cloud, console, handheld and PC.
SOPA tells the story of Miho, who finds himself pulled into a surreal world while simply trying to fetch a potato for his grandmother. What unfolds is a whimsical, often bizarre journey through shifting environments filled with quirky characters and evolving puzzles.
Our review landed at a solid 3.5/5, noting: “SOPA – Tale of the Stolen Potato has a continual, never-absent feeling of being cumbersome. But it also has a tendency of producing sequences and puzzles that muffle it… the mid-section is lovely… we achieved that point-and-click Holy Grail.”
It’s not perfect, but there’s something undeniably intriguing about the experience.
Day One Drops Bring The Energy
While the early week focuses on expanding access, Game Pass doesn’t forget about brand-new content either.
Vampire Crawlers Twists A Winning Formula
Landing Day One on April 21st, Vampire Crawlers takes inspiration from the runaway success of Vampire Survivors and flips it into something entirely different. Available across cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld and PC, it introduces a turn-based, card-driven dungeon crawler with roguelite elements.
It’s all about chaining together increasingly ridiculous combos, building powerful decks and pushing each run to its limits. Whether you play it slow and tactical or lightning-fast, the systems are designed to snowball into chaos.
This is going to be great – which is why we included it in our Best Games of April article.
Kiln Smashes Its Way Onto Game Pass
Then on April 23rd, Kiln arrives as another Day One addition, bringing a concept that’s about as unique as they come. Playable across cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld and PC, this Double Fine title blends pottery creation with competitive multiplayer combat.
You’ll sculpt your own ceramic creations, with their shapes directly influencing how they perform in battle. From there, it’s all about teamwork, destruction and a bit of artistic flair as you smash your way to victory.
A Smaller Week With A Creative Twist
Compared to some of the bigger Game Pass drops we’ve seen recently, this week feels a little more focused; but no less interesting. It’s a lineup built around creativity, from factory-building and storytelling to deck-building and, somehow, pottery-based combat.
Let us know what you’ll be playing.
