GTA 6 Leaker Seems To Have A Playable Build Of The Game – WGB

The GTA 6 leak is apperently much worse than was initiailly thought. So far what has been leaked has been videos of the game in action, indicating that perhaps the leaker, a person or group going by Cyberleek, had managed to grab videos of the game in action from Rockstar or was sent them by an employee. But now it seems like they have at least a playable portion of the game.

The latest video that Cyberleek has dropped includes a scene at the end where Jason uses a gun to spell out the word “LEEK” on a wall. While it’s always a possibility this could have been faked, the most likely scenario is thst Cyberleek actually has a playable build of the game, and that all of the videos before this were of them actually playing GTA 6.

The big question is how big of a chunk does Cyberleek have? It could be complete playable build from the very start to the end, or it could just be a vertical slice. We have no way of knowing.

This is massive for Rockstar, as Cyberleek could choose to leak what they have. So far, Rockstar has been copyright striking and issuing takedowns on every video they can find. It’s a losing battle, though, because as quickly as they manage to take them down, they sprout up somewhere else.

If released, the game files would be far worse. Rockstar wouldn’t be able to contain it, and a lot of people would choose to download it ahead of the game’s proper release. Although the irony is it probably won’t even dent sales. Hell, it may even increase them, acting like free marketing.

As a reminder, Cyberleek have their own manifesto and demands. Essentially, they are against digital pre-orders because digital stock cannot run out and thus companies have no reason to take people’s money before the product actually launches. They are also against “fake single player DLC” like the GTA 6 missions that are being locked away as part of the Ultimate Edition. They also want singleplayer games to remain playable offline, which I actually do agree with. The broader manifesto rails against games being sold as licences rather than genuinely owned products, unfinished/live-service releases and increasingly aggressive monetisation.

They state they will continue to attack and leak data from companies like Rockstar unless the major players in the game industry apologisie for their actions and begin making restituition.

Unfortunately, they are also promoting a crypto coin in the process which they claim people can buy to help support the cause, and to fund some “mystery project” intended on furthering gamers right. They promise this is not a cash-grab.

On the one hand, they could be telling the truth and the money will be used for what they claim. On the other hand, it does look lind of suspicious.
